I miss junking, fixing up, and going to shows. It wasn't so much about making a lot of money - that was always nice - but about the creative process and the thrill of the hunt for the next treasure. We had a whole group of gals that we would do shows with. Then everyone drifted their own way. I miss it.
I've decided that I'm going to do this again - for myself. It will give me a creative outlet and I'll get out to meet new friends in the process!
I have the whole winter to create and get ready for Spring shows. I will share treasures as I get them done. This is going to be such fun!!

Kay,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I am excited for you that you are going to get involved in junking and shows again. It is so much fun!!!
Annette
It's always fun to return to doing something you found to be enjoyable in the past. Doing something you love to do makes it fun and not like work at all.
Enjoy your time and know that not only are having a good time but you are going to make money off of it.
Hugs,
Joanne
I understand your sentiments SO much! That's the reason I get so excited about teaching my class every September. I'm only a volunteer at church, but being needed and being a vital part of our community means everything to me! :)
Kay, my daughter and I used to make primitives and sell them out of shops in nearby towns, but we also went to shows. I enjoyed it too. We soon found that China could underprice us:) We had fun.
Lots of work!
Deb
Kay I didn't know you knew Annette, that is exciting, I have got to know her through the junking trail. Let me know how it is going for you.
You go girl! And I am sooo curious to all your junking shows..so please put your camera in your pocket..
I always loved doing the shows, but they are now gone here in Florida. Like someone said, the imports took over, and the shows all died. I miss it terribly. Your pictures made me homesick for that life again!!!!
